Hi Daniel, thanks for your review! All you have to do to "season" the pan, is rub it with a little oil before you put it away so that the pan doesn't look dry. You don't need to heat it up. This oil protect the pan from rusting and will become your next layer of seasoning next time you cook.
Alternatively, if you don't use soap and there is still some leftover cooking oil / fat in your pan you can leave that as your protective layer and no need to add more seasoning. Sometimes if no food is burned to the surface, I'll simply wipe it out with a paper towel.
