I’m a 67 years old single male who has recently started taking cooking more seriously. I bought a top-of-the-line stainless steel and carbon steel skillets. I had an old cast-iron skillet that always was smoking up the house, hard to clean, Etc.. so I decided to buy a top-of-the-line cast-iron skillet. I have no regrets because this skillet has improved my cooking skills and the flavor and ease and ease of cooking my food that has been worth every penny I spent.

This skillet has been great . I started cooking with it the day I got it. Started with caramelized onions then made the quiche recipe on the website then cornbread. Nothing stuck to the pan.

My No. 12 Field skillet has performed flawlessly. I have purchased, over the years, several vintage cast iron skillets and after cleaning, have done as expected. I learned how to use and maintain cast iron skillet successfully. Accordingly, I was interested in purchasing a skillet brand new so that I can develop its seasoning based on only what I cook. So far it has worked out really well. I may purchase a smaller skillet soon so I have a matching set.
