I have the No. 8 pan, it’s amazingly lighter than my previous cast-iron pots and pans. It’s also so easy to clean that I use it much more often and may give away my “non-stick” pans. It stays on top of the stove ready for action! Now I’m thinking I need the Dutch oven too.

It is not as heavy as some others I have owned, I’m trying to get it seasoned and it still looks weird. The small one has seasoned faster than the large one.

I was very reluctant to shell out the money for this pan because I already have a cast iron skillet. However, I was intrigued by the design--lighter, smoother, rounder...I'm very glad I did! I followed Field's instruction for breaking the pan in and seasoning it--starting with several rounds of vegetables, plenty of cooking oil (I use all sorts--tallow, ghee, butter, olive and avocado oil) and I clean it and rub a bit of their seasoning oil EVERY time. Fried eggs this weekend were 100% non-stick. Love it, and the only thing keeping me from adding to my collection is cost. But if you're looking for what to get me for Christmas or my birthday...

Skillet has been non-stick since the day it came. Lightweight and fun to use. It is now my go - to pan.
Worth every penny

I love this pan and use it for almost everything I cook. Food doesn't stick, everything cooks evenly, and the pan is a cinch to clean.
