Field cast iron cookware is seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil for naturally non-stick cooking performance.

Follow the Field Method for Cast Iron Care & Maintenance to keep your cast iron cookware clean and well-seasoned:

  1. Use the Natural Fiber Brush to scrub away food residue.
  2. Use the Chain Mail Scrubber to remove and stubborn food particles, and to gently scuff cast iron surfaces.
  3. Apply a dab of Cast Iron Seasoning Oil to a clean, dry skillet.

Like all cast iron cookware, our cast iron lids should never be cleaned in the dishwasher, or left to drip or air-dry.

    Love it

I cut my teeth into the cast iron scene with a big heavy 14” cabelas brand pan that I absolutely abused. Major problem with it no lid and the thing weighted 13 pounds.

I bought this field skillet and lid as a gift to myself and have absolutely loved it. Weights half as much and the fit and finish are phenomenal. I’ve cooked everything from eggs to pork chops, braised my wife’s lazy stroganoff in it with great results, and the clean up has always been a breeze with every dish.

This skillet gets used almost daily for my family of 4, and it makes enough for leftovers to have for lunch.

    Big and beautiful!

This thing is big and beautiful. lol...It already thinks it's the queen of the kitchen. I love my no. 8 but the no. 12 is awfully easy to grab and go whan I need to fry up several eggs at once or turn a couple of ground beef into hamburgers in a hurry.

    I couldn't be happier

I've been using cast-iron my entire life, but was unaware that there was such a big difference in quality. After using Lodge or equivalent, quality cast-iron, this skillet is amazing! My wife wants me to throw all our old cast-iron away and buy an entire set of Field cast-iron. For T hose that are wondering yes I took all those old skillets and sanded them down and seasoned them very well and I've been using them for 20+ years and they are still not as good as the Field skillet was day one.

    Great Nonstick Already

Oh boy, this pan is the perfect size for sautéing veggies, cooking tortillas, or even the large batch of cornbread I made tonight. Nothing sticks to it, even when I've thought it would take me forever to scrape off baked on rice and chicken, it was no problem with following the simple Field cleaning tips. I've used Lodge and Camp Chef cast iron for years and tried bringing it in to use as daily cooking pans, but the challenge of dealing with food sticking to the pans was too much for me to want to overcome in my kitchen. But nothing really sticks to these guys right out of the box. If you're wondering if they're really worth so much more than the good old standard of Lodge, they are.

A beautiful skillet that cooks as good as it looks!

I love my Field #12 it cooks just as beautiful as it looks! The inside has a beautiful finish. My favorite thing to cook in it so far is Texas roasted potatoes. I have started off with it slowly and just recently moved up to cooking proteins in it. The bacon I did last week was by far the best bacon I have ever made. The pieces stayed flat and cooked up perfectly. I will never cook out of another nonstick pan again in my life! Thank you Field for making an amazing cast iron products!
