Made for entertaining
The No.16 Skillet is designed with important meals in mind: use our new 16 ¾” pan to roast holiday mains in a standard size oven, or as a grilling skillet on a 22” kettle, gas grill, or over live-fire coals.
Re-designed double handles
Our reinforced two-handle design makes it easy to maneuver a fully loaded No.16 Skillet. We left 4" of room inside both handles—that’s plenty of space for hands of all sizes, with oven mitts included.
Extra large, not extra heavy
The double-handled No.16 Skillet is three-times the size of a standard cast iron skillet—but it's still lighter and smoother than every other pan in its class.
How to use the No.16 Skillet
Tips and recipes for the largest size
Use the super-sized No.16 Double-Handled Skillet for large format meals, starting with pork steaks, backyard cookout burgers, and braised chicken legs.
Cast iron gets hot and stays hot: pick up a pair of hand-stitched, full-grain Leather Oven Mitts to safely handle the extra large—but not extra heavy—No.16 Skillet.

A big pan for big moments.
The largest skillet in the Field lineup is built for summer cookouts and holiday feasts.
We re-engineered the Field Skillet with a new double-handled design that's 3x larger than a standard cast iron skillet.

We used to use a rough cast iron wok for stir-frys, but have swapped it out with this one and we can use two burners on the stove top to more evenly and quickly cook up our dishes!

From camping to making a pizza, to BBQ,, this is my workhorse of all the Cast Irons I have. A huge surface for creating big meals, or multi different meals together. I have made everything from a well crusted steak, to smash burgers, to Chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I did mention pizza. I’ve made a huge deep dish chicken pot pie with it, and I have turned it over and used the bottom of it as a baking surface. It really is very versatile, a must have!

I absolutely love Field Company cast-iron! Not as heavy as the other cast iron out there, and not as porous which makes for a very good finish and seasons very well.

This skillet is great! We never have enough space even in our biggest pan and end up steaming a lot of food instead of browning it because we overcrowd the pan. We always have room in this skillet. Another great feature is the weight it is light. It is a huge pan so it seems like it would be too heavy to cook/deal with but as usual with Field it is very light for its size. The handles are very helpful and aren't too small. We use this skillet a few times a week.
