Love my #6
I could not be happier with my #6! Making eggs, sauteing onions or broccoli rabe and garlic, you name it these pans are great! Picture is broccoli Rabe and garlic, and wild salmon, on my sisters stove.

Excellent skillet
The #8 skillet is a rather expensive item, but the quality makes it worthwhile. I have Wagner skillets and dutch oven inherited from my mother which are beautifully seasoned and cared for and I wanted to have a modern cast iron skillet to compare. The Field skillet was pre seasoned and after few uses became as non stick as you would wish for. I like that it’s lighter in weight and easier to wield around the stove top. Although it does not have pour spouts, the sloped sides allow for dripless pouring. I can slide a soft fried egg without a spatula right onto a plate. The factory finish is quite smooth and there are no rough edges anywhere on this skillet. Hope this helps
