A set of cast iron skillets comes in extra-handy around the holidays. Not only can cooking in cast iron save precious oven space, but the heavy-duty cookware also serves as a heat store, keeping side dishes warm while you put the finishing touches on your spread.

Below, we share some of our favorite cast iron recipes for your Thanksgiving table. In lieu of the traditional turkey, we’ve included a decadent crown roast of pork, but you can also roast a smaller turkey in a Field No.12.
