Use the Cast Iron Lid's self-basting ridges to maximize your skillet's capabilities: learn how to braise, steam, and melt with a Field lid, starting with braised chicken thighs.
Field Skillets draw inspiration from the lighter, smoother skillets of America’s cast iron manufacturing heyday. For our first lid, we put our spin on a cast iron innovation.

I’ve been using cast iron for the past 40 years, and I wish that I had heard of Field Company before!
I’ll definitely be a loyal customer going forward.

I have grown up thinking that” lodge”was the great cast-iron.
Boy was I wrong! I could not be happier with my new field company skillets . I’ve recently bought a #10 with a lid and quickly added a # 12 with a lid to my collection. They are definitely worth the investment! They cook and clean up great and I am confident I will be passing these onto my children someday. Love them!!
And customer service is amazing and very helpful!!

There's nothing like cast iron to make cooking with electric actually fun, and the Field Company skillets are unbelievably light compared to other brands. The material is excellent quality. I'll be able to pass this down to the next generation.

This Skillet is as good as my grandmother’s 110 year old skillet if not maybe better. I’ve tried Lodge’s junk and there’s no comparison to Fields. Would recommend this product to anyone who wants a good quality cast iron skillet. Photo attached after a month of purchase. Seasoned great.
