    Great pan, handle too short

    I’ve used this pan a couple of months; it’s great. The one drawback is that the short handle means that it gets too hot to touch on the stovetop, unlike my other pans, which is annoying (especially when I forget and grab it).

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this skillet!

    Twice as big as my old Lodge but not as heavy. Nice even heat, absolutely love cooking with it.

    No. 10 Siillet is awesome

    I also have a Lodge 10" skillet and it took a long time to season. The difference between the Lodge and the Field is night and day as far as the smoothness of the cooking surface. I frequently have scrambled eggs stick in the Field skillet, but I am seasoning, putting more oil in and cooking slowly. Hopefully, it will get some better. The Field is a pound lighter than the Lodge which is wonderful when I need to wash and dry it. I am very happy with the Field 10" skillet. I also love the Chain Mail Scrubber and it is much better than the one I received from Lodge,
