    Out with the old!

This is a wonderful pan very little sticks to it, cooks very evenly and it’s not as heavy as the old cast-iron pans, which is getting to be an important thing as we get older I’m very happy with our purchase.

    Love this pan!

I'm so very pleased with the quality of the Field Company cast iron skillets! Mine has seasoned very well and I can slide a fried egg around with ease!

    Still sticking

I do like this pan ,leaving it on my stovetop all the time, ready to use. I clean it in hot water, using the brush only, occasionally the chain Mail if something sticks up. I always dry and wipe the pan with a little of the seasoning oil/paste after each cleaning.

Sometimes it works great. But the other morning I made scrambled eggs, which stuck to the entire pan. Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi Charles,
We always recommend preheating your skillet for 3-5 minutes on med-low heat, to ensure all of the seasoning loosens up on the surface of the skillet. From there, apply your oil or butter and finally your eggs. I hope this helps!

    Needed Something Bigger

Have several Field cast iron pans of various sizes and they have been wonderful. However, occasionally I find that I needed a little more room in my pan to prepare a meal. No 10 was what I needed. Great pan, love it.
