I have always been a small build & really disliked the weight of cast iron. I also had a bad experience eating from cast iron cooking as the cook didn't properly clean hers & black burnt bits of past foods were in all her cooking. Needless to say I thought I'd NEVER be a cast iron owner. But the lighter weight, and wanting a completely healthy pan with no harmful chemicals led me to try Field Company. I now own 3 pans & am really loving cooking with them. I have the 6, 8 & dutch oven. Of the 3, I use the no.6 the most as it's just my hubby & I. Food tastes great & I'm almost to the point where everything now glides smoothly out of the pan. I could not be happier.

I’ve used a cast iron pan my whole life, but recently moved cross country and was forced to downsize everything. I started off my new kitchen with the purchase of your pan and I find myself using it even more than I did my old one because it’s so light!

I love this skillet! Items do not stick it it. Also I seared a perfect steak in it tonight. I look forward to much more cooking in this skillet!

Have twin grand babies who will each get one. I alternate using each one. They will be well seasoned by the time they grow up and cook for themselves! I love how easy it is to cook eggs and clean- a daily part of each breakfast in our home.

Love this pan and lid. Bought the No 6 to try out Field Co pans. Will definitely be buying more when I can. Nonstick, smooth cooking surface
