1. That Vintage Smooth Finish
We designed Field Company skillets to take all the best features from vintage cast iron, and add a modern twist. We created a much smoother cooking surface that’s meticulously polished and naturally non-stick—without harmful chemicals or engineered coatings.
2. Light to handle, cooks with heft
A great cast iron skillet should be the pan you reach for most often. We've optimized the skillet's weight and handle ergonomics to make it easy to maneuver around the stovetop, oven, and grill, while retaining the heft needed for high-heat searing.
3. Made for everyday, five times a day
Made to cook everyday, anywhere. The flat bottom works on open fires, electric ranges, induction cooktops, and pretty much whatever else that generates heat. Plus the naturally non-stick surface makes cleanup a breeze.
4. 100% Made in America
Our skillets are made with reverence and admiration of the best of American foundry craft. We work with iron sourced from American vendors, and pour our cookware using green sand castings—just like the most celebrated vintage cast iron manufacturers, Griswold and Wagner.
5. Destined for your grandkids
Every Field Company skillet is thoroughly pre-seasoned at the foundry, and it only gets better with time and use. Your cast iron pan should be one of the few things you keep forever. Hang it on your wall, then hand it down to your grandkids.
